A settlement has been entered to resolve a lawsuit filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against Central Transport LLC (“Central Transport”). The EEOC alleges that Central Transport engaged in a nationwide pattern or practice of sex discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, by failing or refusing to hire qualified female truck driver applicants because of their sex. Central Transport denies these allegations but has agreed to resolve these claims.
